A camera inspection of your failing sewage line is done to determine length and provide a clear scope of work that needs to be done. The inspection provides us with the size of pipe and condition to determine its candidacy for the relining process, prior to any work starting.
We access the pipe from the shallowest point usually in a basement or just outside the building. Once a scope is determined we will clean and flush the host pipe with a hydro-jetter (pipe pressure washer) and mechanical snake. Next, a new liner is inverted into the host pipe and left to cure. The new pipe will be left to cure (known as CIPP or Cured in Place Pipe).
After curing is complete, the liner is camera inspected again to the city main to return to service. Once complete the sewer line is returned to service and can be used right away. The entire process from start to finish is about 1 day!
